Joan returns to U.K. and Europe for summer shows June – August.

The idea for the video for Get My Bearings is best captured in Matt Weiner’s words: “The song has its own story but it was hard to ignore its origins in the time of the lock down. The video call seemed to capture the particular isolation and disorientation we experienced at that moment while giving us a chance to emotionally illustrate what Joan is saying poetically about the need and the hope of ‘getting her bearings’ and finding the way to go on.”

Joan returns to UK with her fantastic live band in support of new album “The Solution Is Restless” adding an additional headline show at London Alexandra Palace Theatre due to popular demand.

Joan and her band have added shows in New Zealand for June 2022.

Geometry Of You is a song about the intersection of math and sensuality. It’s what Tony Allen did every time he sat down to play. It’s about the quantum aspects of life- there is no one way of doing anything- paradox is everywhere. Finding the flexibility in life is the way I most connect with joy.

The video was created with film shot by the amazing street photographer Chloe Pang, post produced by Shimmy Boyle and directed by Katherine Helen Fisher from Safety Third Productions.
