Get My Bearings - Official Music Video

When Matt Weiner and I met he simply told me he was a writer. I had no idea he was also the creator of Mad Men and wrote half of the Sopranos! No surprise then that being directed by him was the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

The idea for the video for Get My Bearings is best captured in Matt’s words:

"The song has its own story but it was hard to ignore its origins in the time of the lock down. The video call seemed to capture the particular isolation and disorientation we experienced at that moment while giving us a chance to emotionally illustrate what Joan is saying poetically about the need and the hope  of 'getting her bearings' and finding the way to go on."
